Picturesque spot on Highway 1, near Phan Thiet, as it skirts the ocean. We were a few hours north of Sai Gon starting out on what is probably my favorite road trip I've taken in Vietnam. I hired a driver and van and from Ben Tre we went to Nha Trang, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, My Son and we stopped at Son My village where the My Lai massacre happened.
