The beach in front of the Sea Star resort on the mid-western side of Phu Quoc Island. This was July and the current was strong. The surf crashes up onto the beach with enough force to knock you down. The sand is a light brown sort of crushed shell, not the white sand found on the beaches at the southern tip.
