Site of the Khe Sanh Army Base where one of the most famous battles of the American war was fought. Hundreds of America soldiers, thousands of North Vietnamese troops and untold number of civilians died in the battle. When the Americans abandoned the base everything was trucked out or blown up. There is now a memorial museum on the site, pictured here.
