Bomb casings at the Vinh Moc tunnels. During the war, the village of Vinh Moc found itself in the unfortunate position of being located in one of the most heavily bombed areas of North Vietnam. To escape this bombardment, the villagers constructed approximately three kilometers of underground tunnels on three levels. Fighting back a claustrophobic panic, I toured the first level.
